"El estribo 15 ctm máximo, para dominar el registro de los efectos, cuanto más lejos este el puente de
la bola menor efectividad."

.- The bridge has to be 15cm maximum in order to control English better on the cue ball, the longer the bridge the least effective English control is.

.
EFECTO, (which literally translates as EFFECT in English) referring to cue sports, is ENGLISH, but just in Spanish.

Asian people speaks ASIAN languages (Chinese, Korean, etc), they have absolutely nothing to do with Spanish.

And, Flash News, Mexicans are not the only Spanish speakers in the world.

BTW, English is a very lousy term to describe the influence on the cue ball.

EFFECT is a much better term and a closer match:

- EFFECT (and its correspondent literal translation to each language) is the term EVERYONE IN THE WORLD but USA uses when they refer to ENGLISH in cue sports.

There are some regional variations (PIQUETE and others) but EFFECT (of course, translated to each language) is the universal recognized term.

effecto is english. A billiard where you go between the ball and rail and then two more rails is a tickie or indirecto. Cue stick is taco.
