only problem i have is i wont buy a cue without hitting with it first but thanks

If this is true why are you asking for people's opinions about cues and cuemakers?

Have you tried the new Predator 2 cue?

Dennis Hatch switched over to a predator and a predator BK2 break cue in the last six months and is playing much better (3 wins in 6 events) according to posters on this site.

** Hey, I just noticed that you kind of look like my avatar, John Coltrane. Maybe he's distant cousin and that explains why you're a talented guy. :)

I thought I posted this yesterday somewhere before but I don't see it today.

Mark, I saw you play at the LA Open in 93. There were only 3 women in the thing and we all had our own camera crews following us around. It was pretty funny. You played awesome! Congratulations on making it into the IPT. :)

I have a question...why is it that sometimes you use Tadd and sometimes Tademy as your last name? Which is it? Is Tademy your real name, but you prefer Tadd? There's a cuemaker named Tadd...you might get a good deal from him, lol. :p

Seriously though, I contributed to the IPT Players Cue Survey and this was the last posting from Captain Dan. Perhaps it will help you in your decision. Remember though that a few are endorsing their cuemaker for the use of their cue, such as myself and most of the Meucci players.

Curent List

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Below is the current list of players, cues and shafts. One thing I've just noticed on the IPT site is that under each players desciption there's a section "What's in the bag?" . Once it gets underway, hopefully this will be filled in and then I'll be able to check the accuracy of this list, and maybe who has switch cues because of a deal!

Interesting about the shafts. Lots of 314s. I'll bet a lot of the "original" are really not, based on sponsorships.

I'm bumping this up, because it looks like Mark is only answering his other thread and I really wanted to know about his name - Tadd/Tademy. :)

Mark just wondering you are looking for a better cue, have you decided on which cue tip? Which one do you usually use?

After playing with a lepro off and on for 30 years just switched to a moori and wow. So I do believe the tip is just as important as the quality of the cue

i agree all i ever played with is lepro just tried moori a few times and dont like them but played with an 9 year old moori 9 months ago. a guy happened to have one and man it played perfect i couldnt beleive it. the next day it fell off and the person who put it on said sorry i will give you this new moori for free and guess what he may as well have put on a factory kmart tip cause it played like all other regular tips . so the moral o0f this story is if anyone have any old moori tips i will gladly buy them:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

just get a southwest with a preadator shaft jou cant go wrong there they all hit great
It is all a matter of personal taste.
IMHO, Predator shafts have no feel, but to each his own.

I have to wonder why anyone would take a great cue, like a Southwest, and put Predator shaft on it?

Mark,

Like I said before, if you find a cue you like, don't change anything, not even the tip, wrap, or the weight bolt...etc...dont custom order it from the cue maker...just buy it right on the spot...the next one may never hit the same.

That is all I can suggest.;) ;) ;)
