Help me with my Dennis Swift order......Just one last question

I have been sold on ordering a Dennis Swift cue case, and have one final question, or area where I need advice.

Has to do with the bottom pocket, or long pocket, my dilemma is where to place the zipper on the pocket.

Option 1 is smack down the middle.

Option 2 is on the side.

Any pros or con on side zipper, or from zipper for functionality?

I would try to have the zipper facing up when the case is in the normal carrying position.

I had one down the middle and would have preferred it being on the sides.

zippers on the side of leather pockets seem a bit less clumsy in use than the ones down the center.....dats my 2 cents.

Hi,

In case you haven't purchased your case yet.

For 10 years I didn't know I had a Dennis Swift case. I originally bought mine from Tad Kohara when I had him make more shafts for my cue. I just found out this year that Widowmaker sells a similar case to mine and that Dennis made those cases as well.

My 2x4 case has a long zippered bottom pocket and a small buttoned pocket up top. On my case the zipper actually goes around the circumference of the long pocket except on the very bottom, so that when it's fully opened it looks like a giant tongue being stuck out at you. I kind of like it this way which is different from the usual side or center zippers.

Good luck!
