Help Needed for buying a Cue Case

Hi Folks,

I've been trying to find a good cue case to go with my Schon Ltd cue. My budget is between $200~&300 for a leather case.
I have my eyes on an Instroke cowboy 2x4 case and the price has been around $290~$310.

Do you know any other good leather (2x4) cases that may be a better choice than the Cowboy? Or any good place to shop for such cases?

Any suggestion is much appreciated. :)

Try and stay away from any case that uses auto close latches.
It has been my experience and other players in town too that the auto close latches don't hold up and the next thing you know, you'll be tossing the case or paying for expensive repairs.

Probably better to spend the money on a quality case once than have to buy 2 for more money in the long run.
I had to have one of my cases repaired and had them changed to thumb latches. 100% better by far.

You should look at GTF Cases which are the finest ever made in that style of case. (I am biased since I make them). They are a little higher than what you said you want to spend but maybe the extra expense is worth it once you see them.

John makes some fo the highest quality cases available, but you really can't go wrong with Instrokes, and if you don't like the designs then try Omega Billiards. Mike has his own line of cases.
