To me this cue looks like a converted house cue. The cue might be fairly old but it is hard to say. The larger of the two joints looks to be a common joint on cheap imports that have been around for decades. The smaller joint looks to be a more normal pin/insert. The wrap relief cut looks short and deep and was probably done at the same time that the cue was converted. It is cool that this cue is straight because that in itself would be a trick for a amateur cue builder. There are more knowledgeable people on here then me so if nothing else this will bump it back to the top for more to add.
