HELP!! New store....

Have been working for 2 weeks now on a new store.. It's almost done but I need help getting it all the way up... The new store has tiered pricing, Installer and Wholesale groups....

Over the weekend there is an active coupon code for 20% off and I will do a drawing for a super sampler out of the new customers who sign up... All I ask is you shoot me feedback to outsville@gmail.com if something doesn't look right or act right so I can add it to the fix list...

Installer groups and Wholesale groups have to have you manually added so if you are an installer you have to email me at outsville@gmail.com and I will put you in the group. We will have a map up soon showing the names and contact information for any approved installers.

Coupon code is AZTest and you can get to the store by the Store link at Outsville.com or you can go directly to outsville-com.3dcartstores.com

If you are thinking about setting up a store or shopping cart feel free to ask questions the reviews on google make it very hard to figure out which provider may be best for you....

Wait what? While attempting to add an item on to the shopping cart, there's a $2 handling fee and the shipping costs are $2 more than what it used to be..? Sorry but I'd rather stick with the older website that still has the cheaper costs...since the 20% discount code is only for the weekend.

Thanks for pointing that out... Like I said it's a new site and apparently the 3.55 Flat shipping rate is not active

Actually we won't be doing flat shipping... 6.55 international costs us money and 3.55 flat costs our US customers money...

I have no idea what you just said. I did not place an order because there are still discrepancies with your new website. You asked for feedback and I'm providing them. Unfortunately, I've revisited the website again and there is still no incentive to purchase from your new website. For the record, the shipping location is the same as my first post. But aside from the pricing issue, the layout looks good, the checkout section is a lot more smoother and I like the quick links on either side of the website.

$6.55 shipping vs $9.08 shipping to the same place? Financially speaking, without the temporary discount, it's still more cost effective to purchase from your old website.

The coupon won't expire until I have everything fixed on the store... And the drawing we are doing for new customers doesn't require a purchase just an account being setup and giving feedback

The whole point of the coupon was to get feedback on the store design..

The shipping pricing is actual cost now.. The handling was supposed to work with flat rate shipping but that is actually not assignable per country so it can't happen any more..

We used to lose money on shipping for every international order at 6.55 because our crappy software did not calculate actual shipping and would not even print international shipping labels... With the new software I cannot make it charge less than actual unless I activate the flat rate and it applies to ALL countries.. I can tell you that won't fly at 6.55 a pop when every country USPS ships to is now on our list...

In the past we have always had free shipping coupons for AZ members in the US or using APOs... For Canadians we usually would deduct the 3.55 from their shipping if they contacted us on an order and asked about the AZ coupon... I can see likely continuing that practice but not in combination with the 20% that is running. Shipping coupons will go back up after the site is functional...

So far the biggest reasons for the change are as follows:
Real Time Emails for Shipped
Tracking from the actual store
International Shipping and Customs
Whole Sale Pricing levels with listings and a map of where you can purchase
Installer Pricing w/ Map showing Authorized installers around the country and world...
Integration with facebook, Ebay and Amazon
More Payment Options than just paypal
Customer Records (we currently have to do a search on limited fields)
A new look (the old store is several years old and dated...)

It might be a good idea to either do durometer ratings or possibly comparisons to other common products. This can help folks with their decisions.

Also you may want to play with the store visibility on the outsville.com site the colorfull logos of ob and accustats kind of obscures the little menu with only two items on it. Were I you I would change the outsville.com left menu and add direct links to each catagory on the store site.

For instance:
home page
accessories
ki tech tips
accurack ect.

Also add a link to the outsville.com homepage to the store top menu as well that way people can go back easily to your homepage. Try to keep these two menus the same order on each page even though one is vertical and the other is horizontal.

I would get rid of the contact form and just put your contact information at the bottom of every page in your footer

Thanks... The Outsville.com navigation corrupted to the info pages for the products have to be re-linked.. Used to have more than home and Store so will get on that ASAP... Good idea about the guide and the Home page to get back
