Help identifying a mid 70's cue please and thank you in advance.

This is one of the first cues I owned. I thought it was a Mali but now looking at it I do not remember what it is. Doh!! =(_8^(1)

I just got it back after 25 years free of entanglements from the second ex after years of begging. :bow-down:

All the rings are corroded aluminum under old varnish or what ever they used.

That's a blemish on the butt no logo.

My dad had a cue at one time with Wico points, same rings and pin.

It was identified by Dick Abbott as a Fred Mali. Tommy D.

Thanks for all the speedy replies. :bow-down:

I bought the cue from Whitey at Thea Industries in Tacoma, WA in 1974 and one of his tables in '76 and lost it all in divorces.

Pin is Viking. Among others. What is the name on it?
Nick :)
I can't find any name or logo. I forgot to post butt cap pictures. Nothing under there either. That's a glued seam on butt cap. I broke off on a numb skull. :groucho:

Mali #520 - 70's

I love this place. Thanks for the help. I found it and to boot it was manwon. He moved away a couple years ago or I would have taken it to him. Miss your pool hall man. :(

It's a Mali 520 and went for around $137 in the 70's.

I have included an early catalog from the 1970's of Mali cues that were sold by Palmer Custom Cues. Another thing, early Mali cues like the cues pictured in the photo's were not marked with the Mali Name.

Original Price List as issued by Palmer Custom Cues

Hope this helps
