Help - Simple tourney manager needed.

I need a very simple tourney manager program. I have checked out the stuff on the internet and they are way to complex. All I need is a program to enter names and randomly seed the players, then just click on a players name in the chart to advance them. I had this exact thing about a year ago, but now I can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

There's a Windows program called "Pool Tournament Manager" I think - I'd do some searching. It's pretty simple and straightforward, sounds like it's just what you're looking for.

I tried Pool Tournament Manager as well as Tourney Master, Tourney Scheduler, Professional Tournament Organizer, and every other program that can be found with a Google search.

They are all way too complicated in that most require all kinds of extraneous info to be entered, i.e. Division, Match length, Player info, etc. And most aren't visually what I'm looking for.

Maybe this will help. What I'm looking for is a program that actually displays the tournament chart so I can hook my laptop into our overhead projector and players can see their status/upcoming matches. To report a win I simply click on the players name in the chart and it moves him/her to the next bracket and moves the loser to the appropriate losers bracket. I know this thing exists, as I said I had it about a year ago. I'm just hoping someone else has it and can point me to it.

I went to playpool.com first as I thought that's where I got it the first time. Unfortunately the link they have is dead. I have emailed them to inquire but as yet have had no reply.

Well after doing some googling of my own... I can't find a link to that program. And apparently, the author of it passed away last year about this time.

I think, next time I'm somewhere that has this program, I'm going to see about getting a copy of it. I'll toss it up on my domain if I do, and let folks know where to snag it.

Hope one of you finds this and makes it available. I'd also like to use such a visual program at tournies.
