help with a cue ID

does anyone now what kind of cue this is?

I am probably the worst one on here to know anything about brands of cues but to me it looks like a house cue that was cut and made into a two-piece. Johnnyt

Kinda looks like the REALLY old Helmstetter twin pilot cues, but I'm not sure that this is one of them.

After looking closely, I'm with you on the joint ring falling off the cue. Looks like there's a glue shoulder left on the black ring from where the brass, aluminum, or other joint material fell off.
