help with a radial pin shaft

I recently bought a cue with a radial pin in it I have a radial pin predator shaft with a plastic insert it seems to fit but you really have to use some force to get it on I also have radial pin predator shaft with no plastic insert that fits fine my question is how can I get to fit better should I put something on pin to slick it ?

A small touch of carnauba car wax should help.... You shouldn't need much just maybe use a small q-tip and out it in the threads of the insert

it tightens at the very end. I have two other cues that have radial pins in them and the shafts fit just fine and they are all the same size are there different radial pin sizes?

tap, tap. Threading phenolic versus the wood, the phenolic is tighter using the same tap, the full size tap would be fine.
