Help with cue maker

I was gifted this cue that is unmarked. It looks like a cue from the Philippines, but I really have no idea.

If you have any ideas, please share.

It has a 3/8x10 pin
Black embossed leather wrap
Alternating high/low purple and blue veneered points

You can see more detail in the photos

Basically wanna know if I have a decent cue to work with that's worth reconditioning or if I should just save my money and keep it this way. Sell for cheap.

Why would you recondition it? It looks real nice and in great shape.

Recondition Needed

The pics don't capture the uneven finish (can feel the veneers/inlays) and the wrap's seam isn't the smoothest I've seen. I'm mainly wanting to refinish it, with the tiny blemishes it has.

keep it for a while

before you decide, i have owned many of those cues, some [ a few ] will stay straight, buy many will pop their rings-veneers and warp.

Desi, I appreciate the input. Helps me since I don't want to spend money on a cue that doesn't necessarily need/deserve it.
