Help with ID of this case?

A little while ago I made a purchase from Ebay of this kid leather tube cue case.
It has no identifying markings, but looks to be a fairly old piece thus I bought it to house my 1940s Brunswick Master Stroke.
Can anyone help me ID it, or point me in a likely direction?

Old case..."low end" sometimes sold under Brunswick brand, sometimes Palmer, sometimes others, or "generic". I believe it was most likely sold by Palmer.

I am aware of one reproduction run, but that's all.

They are synthetic, vinyl, not leather.


An AZB member was selling reproductions a few years ago but they had a slightly different tube size than the originals.


Cool cases. I will add one to my collection when I find one perfect and cheap.

Yours looks like Palmer model 524. That catalog I posted is from about 1984 but these model lines ran a long time and the case could be a bit older I think...but not as old as the cue you bought.

Thanks for the info Chopdoc.
It's a pretty cool old case - like you say though, not as old as the cue.
I picked it up a while back with a different Brunswick cue in it - the cue had a dark red butt with maple rings & a 2 high/2 low gunsight inlay pattern. Cue looked like it was from that 1970s-1980s period.
It's a great quality synthetic material for that age - has a nice soft feel to it.
Shame it's a bit beaten up...
