Help with ID

I found this out on my rounds today. Well built, amazing shaft wood, joint looks like ivory, but I don't believe it is, it does have some color discoloration and grain appearance.
The rings match up pretty good throughout the butt.
5/16x18 steel pin with an ever so slightly recessed brass insert in the shaft. No weight bolt, but the buttcap is machined at an angle for a weight bolt.
57"
15/16" joint length
.865, 1.10, 1.21 & 1.235
12" from joint to wrap
10 3/4" wrap
4 3/4" below wrap with 1 1/2" buttcap
3/4" ferrule
10 segments of maple in each ring
Solid piece of Koa/mahogany/monkey pod. Something?

Bumper, joint, and rings said Imperial to me (import), but then it has a weight bolt. I have not known them to have a weight bolt. But maybe I just have not seen them.

The butt sleeve rings almost line up, but only almost. The low end imports like Imperial are hit and miss on that.

Did National cues have rings like that? Maybe one of theirs. I am considering National....but I thought their dashed rigs were broader. Could be though.

I took it for a spin earlier and I'm quite impressed. Strange taper though, conical. The growth ring count on the shaft is between 45-50 and weighs in at 4.3oz. Hits and plays great. I was thinking import right when I saw it, but I'm not really sure. The wood is really pretty with some chatoyance to it under a light. I'm thinking old mahogany or something along those lines. There is some black "spiderwebing" in the forearm and the finish seems to nice for an import. All imports I have seen with 5/16 x 18 generally have pins and inserts of the same material. There are some lathe marks on the buttcap. What doesn't add up for me is a conical taper, 57" split evenly with a 3/4 ferrule.

Pins and inserts the same material? I wouldn't say that is prominent in imports. I would say it is more common in older cues, regardless of origin, with brass being the material.

Among my own cues I would say it is just as common in imports and domestics. Brass and brass on older cues. I've never seen a stainless insert but there are a heck of a lot of imports with stainless pins. In fact most of mine have stainless pins with brass inserts. My Rich cue would be an example of a domestic with a brass pin and a brass insert. My Sampaio has a brass pin and a brass insert. I don't happen to have an Asian import with those two matching, but they certainly have been made. I just don't have one.

Anyway, the external contour of the bumper looks Adam, but that's not an Adam bumper. The base, the part that goes in the cue, is different. That base is common among replacement bumpers so it could be a replacement..... or if original, not Adam.
