I recently pick this cue up at work "A pawn shop" and have no clue who makes it. i have been told that it could be an old Mali, Huebler, or Joss. i would love to find out the exact model if it is a production cue....... it could also be a custom cue......

Thanks

Now I don't claim to know too much, but aren't almost all Hueblers nylon inserted in the shaft and not piloted? Rings make me think Joss...

It's definitely not JOSS rings.

The rings actually remind me of something.

I'm at work. I'll post a comparison when I get home.

I think I know the maker. I'll get home an post the example for comparison.

That is an 18 thread right?

no sure on the thread..... it would not fit a joss shaft..... but it looks like a common thread?

Does this look at all familar?

The rings look right, but it looks like the tip of your pin is slightly different, and your cue has a weight bolt. This one does not.

Also, it looks like your insert pilot protrudes further and is more squared off.

I was thinking along the lines of Imperial and other such branded imports. This one in my pics is a Cobra. The same factory made the Dove logo Mizerak cues among others.

I agree with what people say it is not. It's not Huebler, Mali, Meucci, McDermott, or Viking. And I highly doubt it is a custom. I don't believe it is an Adam.

So, other than similar rings and the feeling it's an Asian import of the Imperial type or similar.....well....that's all I've got.

I have ZERO knowledge that could assist you in this one, but I am curious if you've hit any balls with it yet...did it feel "solid" or did it feel like a "cheap import"? Reason I ask, I just picked up a VERY inexpensive - older - import, but it's a very solid hitting cue...surprisingly...

I've hit some newer imports that just felt "cheap"...but the older one I picked up (on a whim) has a pretty decent hit to it...
