Help With ID'ing A Case

I received a couple of these cases recently and wondered if anyone knows what they are.

They are on the style of a Whitten 1 x 2 but there are no maker markings that I could see.

They appear to be made very well and nice leather was used. They could simply be a knockoff but typically, those aren't done this nice.

If anyone has an idea who made them and what would be a reasonable selling price, please chime in.

These are made by several companies. This type of Whitten knockoff is very popular. Without any brand name on it it's difficult to narrow it down to which factory made it.

It does look good as it's Whitten's signature look. It was exactly this type of case which caused my custom one-of-a-kind Joss to be ruined by a scratches all the way from the buttcap to the forearm when the bottom fell out and the cue slid through a ring of nail points.

Some of these Whitten knockoffs are pretty solid and some aren't so be careful what you trust it with.

The thought of your cue riding on the ring o' nails as it exited the bottomless case makes me cringe. :eek:
