Help with info about a "Color of Money" Design Joss cue with Mike Sigel in the joint?

I do not have any pictures of the cue, but I am curious if anyone has ever seen a line of Joss cues with Mike Sigel in the Joint collar? Joss on one side, and Mike Sigel on the other side of the joint collar.

And, the one I am curious about is the classic Color of Money design, which had several different model numbers over the years. Joss J18 for example.

I believe the one I am asking about is probably from the late 80's or early 90's. Again, it only has the Joss logo in the Joint Collar, and Mike Sigel on the other side of the Joss logo, on the joint collar.

Are these cues worth much? Do they have much collector value?

What do you think of them as far of Players, vs Newer Joss cues?

Oh, and off topic, but any thoughts about the White logo Joss 1983 cues? They have "Joss 1983" in the joint collar, and the logo is White.

Thanks a lot for any thoughts.

in terms of play the ones to try were made in 84 and 85 because most had purple heart handles vs "handle" grade maple.

as a rule the "hit" was +++

if i were a JOSS collector i'd focus on the ones made before 79 which featured spliced points or those coming out of the shop as "custom" cues

imo the cues made by JOSS between 69 and 72 played as well. if not better, than any. This shifted quickly in 74/75 when G Szam became the man until his untimely death as still a young man

beginning in 73ish Joss West Cues made by Stroud were on par with Joss

other great cue makers from that era: TAD, ERNIE, SCHICK

not to say there weren't a handful of other great cue makers: TAD, ERNIE, SCHICK

Thanks a lot for the info. I wonder how you can tell if a Joss was made in 84 or 85. Do you mean the Core was Purple Heart, or is that something you could see on the outside of the handle? Thanks.

Off topic, but Bob Danielson (BD Cues, from the North West), for example, Cores his cues using Purple Heart.
