Help with info about Brunswick cue? Asian import?

Since most photos on ebay (and even on AZB) are either mildly or wildly out of focus, it is almost impossible to distinguish between 'decal' cues and others made with veneers or splices. You have to know something about the manufacturer to be certain it is worth more than twenty bucks, IMHO.

In that auction I could not tell if it was a decal cue or not by examining those crappy photos.

I slept the fact that it's just a butt....price is still alright for me....
...gotta lot of shafts that match....but it's no bargain now.

I think it is genuine.

Probably around 1970 after they discontinued their cue operation. The Willie Hoppe's were outsourced to Adam in the early 1970's. Then there was a whole slew of the Taiwan Brunswick's in the mid 1970's.
