Help with info about the cue maker Leon Sly?

Leon is easy to talk to and I know this first hand. I make a few cues both full size and miniature and he seemed genuinely interested in what I do and even offered me advice on my mini's.

I fitted a OB shaft to the Bacote sneaky the day I received my player from Sly cues so I cannot speak for how the cue played with the original shaft.

When I visited on the phone with Leon I got the impression that he was addicted to his craft....not a bad thing if you make cues for a living:cool:
 
I bought two sneaky hoppe cues from Mr. Sly about 3 years ago.
Quality cues and his work has just steadily gotten better.

I called Sly about two years ago, had a great talk about cues and ended up ordering a cue. From this point on never heard a thing, tried calling a few times still no response. In most cases when a cuemaker doesn't keep up on his paperwork you will have issues.

Sly must have sold my cue. No respect!

I would not think the worse. I recently tried to contact him and no reply. Not like Sly. I have purchased 3 cues from him and very satisfied . I am selling one of his cues if you would like to contact me feel free.
