Help with info about the Schon SL10 model?

Why do you keep trashing your cues? Every cue you get ends up needing a refinish/is in ugly condition. $75 refinish will earn you an extra $100 on the cue. Just sell it for what you paid and be done with it.

Thanks for the info about Tony. Hopefully his turn around time on a refinish is not too long. I might give him a call. Hope he is not mad at me for mentioning his name on here. Never meant any dis respect, and I honestly do not even know how much he charges for a refinish (just know what some of the locals have told me).

Bryan's prices are not high when you consider:
1. He has overhead he has to pay for
2. Consider the time it takes to learn the skills to properly do the job
3. Consider the cost of the lathe, cleaning supplies, the risk factor if it does not meet your standards
4. He is a small business and needs to turn a profit, his time is money
5. He is the BEST in the area for what you need done

He more than likely did not want to trade you because:
1. He can get Jacoby cues at direct pricing, he talks to Dave often and picked up 4 Jacoby's at the DCC this year.
2. The cue you bought was not his and on consignment. He has to answer to the owner of the cue and assumes all of the risks
3. He did not feel like he could be where he needs to be on the cue and satisfy the owner, in other words, the trade value was just not there in his eyes for his end.

Yeah, he was very honest, and told me that I could get more money by selling it to someone who needs a cue (those were not his exact words), then he could offer me on trade value. I guess he just figured that however much he would offer me in trade value would probably not f=sound fair to me.

By the way, I did not buy the Schon SL10 from Bryan Roberts. I purchased it from an AZ member who lives in Alabama.
