The MO 10 has chain link rings, without dice. Here's one that had some chips and cracks that went for $510 on auction:

Sounds like your friends cue is nicer. Guessing at maybe asking $700 or $800? They are a desirable cue for a Meucci fan. I haven't bought or sold Meucci's in a long time.

We all saw that MO10 on Ebay. It got 1 bid. $510. Several of them have sold for 5-600 in good shape.
The MO10s are not as desirable as the 84-9s. I can't tell you why, that is just how it is.
