Help with thoughts / info, about Scott Grossman cues, from Pinedale, Wyoming?

EDIT: It seems that I have a Scott Grossman cue, and that the cue maker is from, Pinedale, Wyoming.

I always love to learn any info possible about cues that I get, so I am just curious if anyone here has any thoughts about this cue maker?

I really love the looks of this cue.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the cue is an 8 point cue, with Recuts (in the points), correct? Some sort of Burl wood, into what appears to be Ebony. And, then again, some sort of Burl wood in the butt sleeve.

And, I believe that the joint pin is a 3/8x11, just going by the looks of it.

I seem to make myself look like a fool at times, so please take it easy on me, if I am wrong about anything that I said.

Just curious to learn some info about the cue, and the cue maker, if possible.

I really love the look of the points in this cue though.

Sadly, it was clearly abused really bad, but the good news is, that it is still very straight. So, I assume that it was a very well made cue.

It has a signature in the forearm, but I am only able to read the 1st name.

Alsi, thanks for any other thoughts about the cue.

I believe it is some sort of a Burl, into an Ebony forearm.

He has refinished many cues made from many makers,
He may offer insight

A guy on reddit says that the cue was likely made by a, Scott Grossman, from Pinedale, Wyoming.

I can't find a single pic of a Scott Grossman cue online though, other then this cue, lol.

Bummer. I guess there is no info out there about his cues.

That looks like the correct signature.

Best to ask the maker.

Did you not find contact info for him?

I found a number but I am not 100% sure it is correct.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yeah, bummer about the condition of the cue, abd bummer that the cue was not made by a well known cue maker.

And, yeah, the finish looks and feels horrible, not to mention that it is pretty beat up. Any chance that the finish originally looked really good, whenever the cue was 1st made? Or, you think it may have just bern a poor quality finish to begin with?

Good news is that the butt appears perfectly straight.

Bad news is that it is in really bad condition, and I just have 1 non original. Unknown shaft with it.

Oh, the points appears to be fairly even. Not perfect, but I have seen far worse.
