I gotta say, that article was pretty bad. It wasn't really an article at all. Just kind of a 7 or 8 sentence ad. And the $20k starting price is, well, just a BIT off. I guess having any kind of article, albeit brief and not entirely accurate, is a good thing for Joel, for the industry, and for pool as a whole.
Bottom line:
Hercek cues are incredible cues. Joel is one of the true master craftsmen out there. His attention to detail is amazing. His artistry is unparalleled. And the play is incredible. He's perhaps the best in the full-splice game and one of the best all around cuemakers out there today... if not of all time!
I've owned and/or played with several. They are truly amazing cues.
