There is no way for the pockets to be non-symmetrical. They have a sanding disk on a miter saw set at a fixed angle. After the cushions are glued to the rails and roughly cut to length, the entire rail assembly is brought up against the sanding disk which gets them to the exact angle. I saw this with my own eyes at the Diamond factory tour, which I went on 3 times during my various DCC trips.
I can't believe in both this thread and the other one people think the table is bad. This is why commentators in pool matches can't really "see" the angle of the shot unless they are at the table. The camera always lies. Always.
