here are some stories of my pool life

Golf In Salt Lake City

Mark, I came through Salt Lake and played you and Barlow on the 6 x 12 at the Farmers Daughter pool room. It was the tail end of a road trip I took with Poker Paul from San Jose. I don't remember the year, but you were 17 or 18 at the time. I beat you playing golf & you won some of the $$ back playing one pocket and then went and got Barlow, who was in a poker game in the back room. He & I played a long session & I won a little. I was amazed at how much 6 x 12 action there was in Salt Lake. They even had a couple of bars with 6 x 12's in them they played golf on. JOHN HENDERSON

Mark,

Thanks for taking the time to share all of your knowledge. There are many people on this board who are very passionate about pool, as you can see. And, like me, I'm sure they're very excited to have a player of your status making frequent posts to this forum. I hope you stick around for a while and help us all improve our games.

So Mark, are ya goin' to Riverside this weekend? Same question to you too Jimmy.

As much as I want to go play, I can't make it. I might have made it, but Meiko just caught whatever I've had for the past few days. I'd feel guilty if I got her sick then left her alone for the 3-day weekend after she took care of me for the last 3 days while I was sick. I admit that I'm a little bummed out not to be going though. I've been playing all week while I was home sick and I feel like I'm hitting them pretty good ... certainly better than I have in the last month or so since I started playing again. Go figure, huh?

Since Mark is back posting on this board, I thought I would bump this interesting thread back to the top for those that missed it before.

Good to hear ya
