I was thinking of some type of textured black leather wrap, I have 2 options for the butt sleeve. One is curly maple that came off the same as the forearm, with snake wood windows or some other inlays i have pondered over. My other option would be to have a solid piece of snakewood for the buttsleeve.Black butt cap. Not sure what im going to do with it yet. Any suggestions?

Yes the forearm is cored with straight grain hard rock maple.

Nice work. Solid snakewood butt would be my choice, maybe curly windows with the same veneers boxing them? What kind of joint are you considering?
