Hello all. I just snapped a couple pics tonight as I was finishing up working. They are sealed so the dark woods may look a little funny. I will get some better pics up later and I will email them to all the guys waiting on these. Chris.

That is some gorgeous curly maple towards the end. Whoever gets that in their cue will have a beautiful cue!

Chris

Very nice work. MMMM, purpleheart and ebony.
Obviously you make your own blanks, what kind of a jig do you use, Chris?

That is an odd ball wood. I bought it as olive wood but do not think it is. I think it is pyinma or something similar. It has a fantastic figure and will be a fantastic looking cue. That wood and the piece of cocobolo will be put together here shortly.

I do my short splice v points on a mill using a jig I made myself. It is adjustable from 0 to 27 inches between centers. Chris.
Oh, the other piece in the pictures is a full splice forearm that I cut on another jig I made. That is for a cue that I hope will be at the super billiard expo. If it makes it there it will turn some heads. That is my current "why did I start this now" project.

Great work!

Very nice looking cues, as usual, Chris! Keep up the good work and I will see you soon. P.S. I think that is Asian satinwood. Best to you and happy Thanksgiving!!

im loving that thuya burl cue.

I'm thrilled to say that cue has my name on it. Chris and I hashed out the design a few months ago. At the time, I only knew I wanted a wrapless cue with thuya burl. It's going to look dynamite when it's completed!

Thanks for sharing the pics, Chris. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Valley Forge

I'm not quite sure yet, I will need to see how my room addition is coming along. I would like to, just have to keep my priorities in order. I'm also busy crashing this! Happy Thanksgiving, Chris (and all AZ Brethren) , Kent

Happy thanksgiving everyone!
Kent. There is nothing like the feeling of crashing your brand new expensive machines. LOL We have all been there. I just set up my new cnc stuff where I keep my hand on the controller power switch for my first few runs. Luckily I have never done and real damage other than a chuck for my inlay cutters.

I first saw your cues last year when you were showing the ones you were taking to VF..I fell in love with the one in your avatar that is such a pretty cue it had some influence on the cue Jimmy Lee is building for me in the gallery ... I have to admit I totally love looking at your work and your cues ... I don't see enough of it on here. These are more good looking examples of your work I would love to get to talk to you someday and set down and figure up something ... Would love to get some prices and see what we can do ... I imagine you have a pretty good waiting list ... Your work is beautiful and it has had me hooked since the first post I saw of your cues. The quality of woods you use ... your designs and ideas are something I would like to own a piece of some day ... I can only imagine your cues hit as good as they look...

Thank you very much for the compliments. Feel free to call me if you would like to get a cue going sometime. I currently have a wait of around 12 to 15 months due to the ammount of orders I have going. I have really been working hard lately on cutting more wood than I need so I can try to get the wait times down. I am currently doing veneers for the super billiard expo cues. I will post some pics when they are assembled into forearms. Thanks again. Chris.

My friend Ted loves CB cues. One of these days I will have to get on CB list or steal one from Ted's collection. Love the cocobolo cue Chris.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for posting the pix. So glad to see my cues are well on progress...gotta love the amboyna/bem and the coco/curly :D Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks. Here are a quick few I snapped tonight. The flash kind of hides the birdseye but it shows the A joint ring. The second one is a davis blank conversion that has been in the works for a while.
