Here's a tip for cutting down the length of rail bolts.

Well you could use a portable band saw like I have to cut threaded rod then you always have your choice of any length and you clean them by turning them and dragging on a brick or concrete. Cleans up the edge fast and no need to use file

In that big truck I'm sure there's room for a Milwaukee PBS. Good for cutting wafers and billiard blocks as well. Can't do that with yours
