My buddy AJ loves to checkout garage sales (he makes more money than most guys I know buying/selling this stuff  :D)

He found this older ADAM cue last week......anybody have an idea of the era of this cue??? 70's -- 80's???

After cleaning and a new Aegis threaded ferrule and new SuperPro tip

I think I can make a nice sale here for somebody looking for an old playing cue (cost $5) ;)

this cue looks very similar to a cue i purchased in Sportmart, a local sports store now closed, back around 1978. mine was a "Rich" cue. the joint was the same as well as the wood, cap and bumper also look to be as well. i think it cost me $35 bucks back then and wasn't half bad for a first cue. are you sure it's an Adam??

Affirmative!

Yep, it's no doubt an older Adam cue....maybe an A2?!?

While I was carefully cleaning off most of the gunk on the buttcap you could begin to see the ouline of the Lions logo where the sticker glue stuff was ;)

I'm just kinda curious of the age.....the solid brass joint looks old but I thought the 70's version was pointed!? where this one is rounded at the tip???

Also, this cue is only 56.5" in length, the ferrule now is 13MM, it weighs in with a weightbolt at 19.2 oz -- the balance point is (butt heavy) at 17.5 oz from the bumper too.

PM Jayman...I think he is the resident Adams/Helmstetter expert.
