Herman Rambo Cue Question

Hi,

My friends dad Mr. Piazza came to my shop with his Rambo cue he bought from Herman in the 1950s in Chicago.

He is now 74 years old and does not play pool any more and was interested in finding out how much it is worth.

I told him there were a lot of knowledgeable guys on AZ and I would put it in the gallery.

I would appreciate any feed back concerning the value. If it is against the rule in the open forum, please PM me any thoughts or opinions.

56" long cue

Thanks,

Rick G

Rick, cool piece of history your friend has! No expert on value, but someone on AZ will know.
Good luck with it.

Thanks you gentleman,

I will let him know. I sighted the cue and it looked good but we will need to roll it and check it out further.

I am not part of any deal and have no skin in the game but as a cue maker I can intervene and be a witness as to it's straightness. I will have him bring it back to my shop and I will put the butt and shaft between centers as well as roll in on my shop's pool table. Stand by please.

Mr. P will be back at my shop in a day or two and I will get more info.

Rick

PS. It is a HR for 100% sure. This cue never left Chicago ever.
