Big Dog Billiards is right there in Des Moines and Stix is in Ankeny, IA. Big Dogs is a newly renovated room with a ton of Diamond bar boxes and big tracks, and a few Valleys sprinkled in around the outer edge of the room. There is also a hugemongous tournament in Davenport, Iowa at Sharkys Billiards on November 24, 25th.

Haha, I was driving cross country on a road trip recently and Frost was there playing in Des Moines. I call him as I am driving on the 80 and tell him I am in Iowa and what a boring state it is with wide open fields of nothing. He tells me he is in Iowa too and to stop off but I kept on rolling along to Colorado which I found much more to my liking. :smile:

Just looked it up online. Looks pretty nice. Thanks for the info.
 
Big Dogs is the place to be.

There is a ACS (?) Casino (Prairie Meadows) tournament in Des Moines (Altoona) on the 16-19th. Haven't heard how many are playing. ACS Link

I'm sure you can find what you are looking for at Big Dog.
 
Corn stock pool

There is a guy there named DONNY that did and can play if you wake him.
 
Great, I will look for him. So anyone that is up for some games I'll be there that week. Just let me know. I am not a great player, but been improving since I came back to pool earlier this year.
 
Hey guys, be at Big Dogs in Des Moines this coming week (Monday or Tuesday). Be there until Friday. Looking for anyone that wants to play some games, and maybe help an intermediate player like me out.
