Come to St Louis this weekend. Tournament @The Break Billiards in Cahokia IL. Always lots of action.

Justin B. will be in attendance & looking to matchup with JoeyA or anyone else in the building. Sorry, just no games for $20 and Justin is too young to play one pocket.

Too young to play one pocket? That makes no sense. :/

Is there a sign in there with an illustration of a guy holding out his hand that says "You must be this tall to play one pocket"?

Scott-- Maybe you are confused because you didnt read my post with comprehension.
It has nothing to do with height. I don't think Justin is going to get much taller.
It has to do with age & patience. The only move Justin knows for one pocket is shoot @your hole & that doesn't work well when gambling. You can outrun a tournament here or there, but not a gambling session with that philosophy.
If there is an illustration, it would say you have to be this OLD to play. Not this tall.

I got what you were saying. The sign bit, well, that was a metaphor.

Again, why do you think the kid is too young to learn one pocket? Everyone's different. When you're young, you soak up information quicker than when you're older. Teach the kid one pocket. See how he does.

anyone can play one pocket. i agree it does take patients and someone who just wants to win win win and do it right away. eh its prolly not your game. but i'd encourage all to try to play and learn the game and its strats. ive seen youngins play.
