I'm convinced that the discussion of eye dominance always ends with preference. Near 100% shaft-DE correlation brings me peace of mind since it removes some of the 3D information while I'm down on the ball.
But I wasn't yet convinced that it was the right choice for me, until I saw THIS picture.
