I was looking for some joint protectors for my Southwest Cue that would match
the existing Southwest Ring work. I contacted Mike Stacey and he responded
right away. I could not be more happy with the Jp's he made for me and he
is very pleasant to work with.

Here is his contact info anyone else is looking to have some custom joint protectors
made.

Those look fantastic, did he make them without you sending him the cue?

I sent him 1 shaft and a couple of photos of the butt. The turn around
time was quick and while not cheap, I thought the price was fair.
I highly recommend him.

Nice!

They look great! I like how the red stitching on the case makes the whole package match...

I should have Mike make me some for my Sugartree.

Local here, he's a really nice guy too.

I was turned away from another JP maker because I offered to pay via paypal gift, rather than pay fees.

I guess that's rude these days.

One too many "gifted" payments and your account gets frozen. Paying fees also offer you some protection against a bad seller.

Could have just said that instead of refusing altogether. I didn't even get an offer or explanation. Just, "no".

Those are pretty sweet I must say. I might have to get some myself.
