You're too young, kid.How many innings do I get?

lolYou're too young, kid.
I just watched your match against SVB as I had not seen it before. Nice job! As the commentators mentioned, you looked very much in control of your game towards the end of the match in particular. Shane looked like a Formula 1 car with a bad clutch but you made him pay for his mistakes.Sure. I ran 98 in April of 2019. I was 71 at the time. Practice session, on 9-foot GC3 with 4 3/4 or so pockets.
I think more impressive was my win over SVB in the US Open 14.1 in 2016 when I was 68.
I recently heard that "Preacher" Don Feeney ran 100-some at the age of 95. (It might have been 148, but I'm waiting for confirmation.)
Old school straight pool enthusiasts would likely only play non-gamblers unless they could learn from someone better. If YOU want to be the one that learns, you may have to face reality and ‘cough up’ small stakes, at least. Of course, some derive more satisfaction from merely teaching.OK here goes, I am 63 and play 1 day a week (Saturday @ Elite Billiards in Edison NJ) for the non believers come and watch. I don't play for money , my last two regs games/ Friends have went to the Pool Hall in the Sky RIP Gary &Teddy. Looking for a new 14.1 friend. Not every week but pretty regular I catch a gear and run my age sometimes more sometimes less. I just enjoy running racks , giving lessons and learning something new every week.
14.1 Best Game Ever IMHO
