Yup. I also got the book by Andreas Efler, the shooter, which has some stills in it. I think they were planning to do some more, but maybe they haven't gotten around to it yet. The video-technical guy (Robert Leitner) was also working on a slo-mo video for musical instruments, the last I heard.

As I recall, the DVD is about 25 minutes long and has some sequences on other things besides billiards. I thought it was well worth the price. My article in Billiards Digest about the DVD is at http://www.sfbilliards.com/articles/2005-05.pdf

Thank God someone else thought it was worth looking at. I was beginning to think I was alone in that thought. So what is 29,95? in U.S. dollars?

I think it's a piece of art, IMO.....totally awesome. I ran the price through a currency converter (if the orginal price is in Eros), I came up with $40.78.

There is a total of about 16:30 on billiard shots in 73 scenes. There is some repetition of scenes from different angles and in regular and infrared video. There is also 5:30 in 18 bonus scenes of things like matches being struck, balloons bursting, water balloons bursting, golf balls being hit, fire crackers exploding, etc. There is also 3:12 in "making of" stills which shows how some of the scenes were shot.

All of the scenes are accompanied by a sound track of "ambiance music" and the video is intended to be as much entertaining as informative, I think.
