Here is a picture of a group of Hightower cues I recently took .

love them from the top pic
number 1, love the curley wood in black
number 3 has a very nice handle wood
and number 4 has a nice wood in the segmented handle


any idea on what those I mentioned are, especially like the number 3 handle wood

The black in the number one plain jane cue is Phenolic. I call that the bar buster as there is no thick finish to chip. It is made to take the abuse and shoots nice and stiff.

The twins in number two and three have cored Zebra Wood handles.

The handle wood in number four is Redwood burl. The rest of the burls in that cue are buckeye burl.
