I was reading about the midwest csi grand master tour, and it says that Charlie''Hilly Billy''Bryant is the 2009 Texas Open. Anyone that was at this event would know that he got 3rd,and the 2009 Texas Open champion is Chris Bartram.

He's still a great player, and has a lot of knowledge about the game. I believe he will be a great source of information.
I will pass this one bit of info on about Charlie. I was at the Derby a few years ago. I had a poster for me, and a poster for my stakehorse who owns a small bar. I was chatting with my friends and watching Charlie playing a close match on the tv table. I found out his fiancee was seated right next to me. Charlie lost a heartbreaker match, and I told my friends I would catch him for an autograph a little later. The lady says, " nah, he'll be ok by the time he gets up here". I wasn't so sure, because I know it takes a few more minutes than that, for most people to get past those. Soon as he walks up, she asks him to sign the posters for me, and he smiled and says sure thing. We talked for a few minutes. I have seen him a bit hard nosed while in matches, but only in cases where he felt he was standing up for himself.
Maybe someone out there knows him better than I do, and don't have the same opinion. But I think he is good for the sport. Always been very cordial to the people I have seen approach him.
