I thought he got a pretty one too. Everythng one this ivory too. Something about thing just makes me want to sell the cllection I started to get it from him.

i allways wanted to hit with a verl......really nice cue...mickey

I konw it's been brought up before, but if someone had a cue in this condition, would you bother to restore it or leave it well enough alone? The reason I ask is my friend is contemplating selling it. He hasn't thought of a price or anyting, just wondering should he or shouldn't he mess with it.
Thanks for letting me bring up an old topic on an old cue.

If he decides to restore it he should contact Ron Haley. Ron and Verl were friends and Ron may even know the cue and have some more info on it. Ron would be a great choice for the restoration.

I didn't know Ron and Verl were buddies. Learn something new every day. If he does restore it I think he's leaning toward Petree because Pete has worked on it before. Pete does a pretty damn good finish in my book too. I will pass that idea along too.

I'm jet wondering your guys opinion, mess with history or let it be?

Yeah, umm.... I'd go that option if you have any wheatbucks to spare.
