History of Rich Cues

Another Rich Q for reference. Obviously I need to clean the wrap, otherwise darn nice condition. This is how I found it, not my pictures.

Logo is worn off but this is what it looked like on another cue with purple sparkle ring.

I have never seen a catalog for these Butera cues. I missed this prefect example on Ebay. This one looks like a nice cue, nice points and veneers. Mine below is similar, but not as nice.

Rich Q cue for sale on ShopGoodwill. Bid now at $135 plus about $15 shipping. Auction ends at 7pm EST 5/19/2025. That may be a fair price given that it is in very good condition. I like the case but don't know if its a Rich Q case. The cue looks good.

Below the ShopGoodwill photos is a photo from a Facebook sale of two Rich Q cues for $240 (was $300) "really well taken care of" but a lot more beat up

Auction ended at $230 plus shipping. Pricey. I wouldn't pay that. I would pay half that. But I'm a bargain hunter.

Rich Qs sold on eBay in some of the last ten months for $100, $90, $105, and something less than $145. The highest was that below --- $190. So, yes, the ShopGoodwill Rich Q was pricey. It is in great condition and perhaps few are? Still, to buy at $245 including shipping?

The condition looks good, and then you get a couple people in a bidding war. I mean, if you really want it I guess it's worth it.

I liked Goodwill before so many cue hunters discovered it. There were monster deals to be had. I still look. It's the obscure unidentified ones that have a chance at being ignored and I am very good at identifying them. I got a top level early Gandy/National with two shafts in a Palmer case years ago. I think I paid 200 with shipping.
