The longer someone's bridge is, the more stroke inaccuracies are amplified. A shorter bridge gives more accuracy because tip placement is easier to control. There is also what is referred to as "pivot point", it is the lenghth of bridge (which corresponds to end mass), that negates the effect of backhand english from changing the cue ball path. Stiff or whippy makes no difference, it is all in the end mass. IMO
