it was great, no dry eyes in the room.

The announced JA as the first american player for the Moscnoi Cup, 4 players are not chose yet.


Alison speech was great, she sat next to Jean Balukas, Deno Andrews did her induction speech, Kim Davenport did JA's. Ja and Alison both spoke-it was very nice.

JA's dad was crying the whole time, I will tell the story later in this thread, JA told me it in private long ago-but he madi it public so i will share it here, it has to do with him starting pool.

i'm off to the tournment,

Johnny is a great addition to the HOF - I am very happy for both Johnny and Allison!

PS: Eric,I know you missed all those days in school, but I think it's a capital offense to misspell Mosconi's name in a Hall of Fame thread.

I'm just guessing, but he may be typing like me, witgh the index finger of both hands. Sometimes the fingers get confused as to who get the next punch of the keys. LOL.......

As for this induction, That is 2 very justified additions to the HOF. They have both been absolute monsters in this sport. Very deserving. Congrats to both.

Nahhhhhhhhhhh... he just can't spell and he's damn proud of it.

Aha, so thats why I make those mistakes all the time. I have developed from typing after the "Eagle-method" (circle..circle.. circle more.. STRIKE) up to todays ultra fast "use all index fingers"-principle. Until now I thought my fingers were faster than my brain. Thank God
 
Both very deserving players who have been at the top for at least the last two decades. In addition to their play, great ambassitors as well. Congrats JA and AF! Thank you for all you have done.

One of the great things (among many great things) about Johnny is his persistence and dedication to giving back to the game, his feeling of honor to represent the country in the Mosconi Cup, and to play and improve for the tournament trophy and not the money.

He also couldn't stop picking out players and pointing out their excellence from his long time friends Nick and Kim, to Allison and Jean, and to today's players specifically Mika and his work ethic.

Thats rite, i'm proud of it!!!! I have learned to cover my tracks a little by saying M-Cup instead of spelling it out, I should have last nite. Tonite i will start a new thread and go into detain about the HOF induction, Chanpions dinner in a hour from now, so i'll report on both.
