Any suggestions for preventing the dreaded Holy Shirt Syndrome?

(Tried to attach picture, but failed - sorry.)

This post refers to holes in shirts and pull-overs caused by cue shaft rubbing against the material.

Thanks,

John

If your cue's shaft is touching your shirt, either:
A) You're using your long sleeve as a glove; or
B) Your clothes are too baggy

I'd like to see a picture of this. Do you wear this shirt every single time you play? Do you play 7 days a week 8 hours a day? This is a first for me and it's got me intrigued.

Okay, I'm stumped! What's the secret to posting pictures on this forum?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty much all of my shirts are holy, but I'm a welder...I don't see how pool can cause this

I apologize for not being able to figure out how to attach a pix for this post.

I have a very low stance, literally sighting down the shaft of the cue when lining up a shot.

I'm also right handed and left-eye dominant.

Regards,

John

Do you wear this shirt every single time you play? I have seven tee shirts. I wear a clean one each day.

Do you play 7 days a week 8 hours a day? I average about 6 days a week, two hours per session (by myself, practicing - I live in a rural community and play on a 4x8 table that's in decent condition).

This is a first for me and it's got me intrigued. I've had this "hole" thing since day one of shooting pool.

If you wear a wool sweater be careful not to start a fire!

Wear the damage with pride....a lot of snooker champions have the same problem.
Cliff Thorburn would have to send his vest to a dry cleaners after every session.
Joe Davis used to wear out his tie...he was also right-handed and left-eyed.

You're in good company....and buy a new shirt occasionally.
