Cdoo932 said:Hey Perk-When I first looked at my house it was the basement that sold me.It had two finished bedrooms and a bathroom.The rest of the basement was unfinished and was just wating to become my bar/pool room.The hole basement is around 1700 sq ft but I framed in a good sized laundry room for my wife.It has a steel beam with only one support pole so that dosnt get in the way.I am in upstate NY and the winters get real cold so I have a wood stove that heats the hole house.After riding snowmobile all day in -10 weather its the best place in the house. Just make sure the house you buy has good drainage,you dont want water trouble.Good luck.
Its a ranch style house.The main floor is same as basement-1700 sq ft. It has a 2 car garage also.When ever any one comes over for the first time,they are shocked by how much room the basement has.Good times down there.I am waiting for my little brother to get married so I will have a reason to get some strippers over.Good place for bachelor party.1pRoscoe said:If your basement alone is 1700sqft, how big is your entire house?
