I wanted to let folks know about a good seller, cranegod1. I just purchased a cue from him and it was received in exactly the condition described. He is definately on the up and up.

With al of the eBay scams, I think we need to look out for each other. You can feel confident about buying from this gentlemen, definately one of the good guys.

Good deal

That's good to know. I saw he had a few nice cues up for auction. Thanks for the headsup! Hopefully forums like this will help bring down the amount of scammers and creeps on auction sites.

We always hear about the bad ones, good to hear about one of the good ones for a change.

Which one did you get? Was it the Jacoby?? Man, I really wanted that one. I got another one from him but haven't received it. I asked about tracking number and he said he coudn't provide one as he shipped it with his account and wouldn't know the number until the 10th

So I will have to withhold my judgment on the person until I receive my shipment. It's been longer than my other purchases.

same here, waiting on the Starkey

He didn't give me a tracking number when I asked for it either. I got the most important thing though, the cue. I guess he goes out of town alot on business, so his wife does most of the shipping. I was leary also as the transaction took a little longer than normal. But it worked out fine.

BTW, here's the cue I got...

I don't know why I got it, but it's nice enough I guess.

I recently completed a transaction with him as well and received everything as described. He was able to provide me with a tracking number, although he wasn't certain if it was for my cue, lol. It turned out that it was, but he had shipped a bunch of items on the same day and was having trouble keeping track of them himself.

On a slightly different note...has anyone noticed a recent trend toward ignoring feedback and/or a general lack of communication?

In the last couple months I sold 5 cues on eBay. All five were paid for in a reasonably timely fashion, and I left positive feedback for all 5 buyers. 2 of the winners never left FB for me, however, though to the best of my knowledge they had no complaints with the items. I even emailed both of them to verify that they had received the shipments and that all was well, and heard back from neither of them.

In the same time period I also won 4 cues, paying for each with PayPal within less than a 24 hours. I received all the items, but still had not received feedback for any of them. All of the cues were OK, and I emailed all 4 sellers to let them know I received them and was satisfied, and that I would reciprocate any positive feedback that I received. Only one seller left feedback for me and none replied to the emails I sent.

What is with people anyway?

I agree Qnut...seems people are leaving feedback less and less. I am probably owed 10+ feedbacks...but I leave feedback with each of my transactions. I think it's just laziness I guess...some are big power sellers, and I can understand that...but some are just small time people. No clue what is wrong really, other than perhaps lazy.
