Can a hoppe ring be made from a cueball?
I`m contemplating a cue for my wifes next birthday.
Think of purple and fuchsia veneer, ironwood forearm/butt.
I thought it would be cool and a bit more to her liking if i had the hoppe ring made from a #4 billiard ball, maybe even the joint ring?

A local cue maker here in my area makes joints out of cue balls and numbered balls. It looks really cool and when I ask how he does it he just says very carefully. It' looks like there is a swirl in the joint with the numbered balls.

Cool :)
I found this picture on Dzuricky custom cues:

It looks really cool.
I`m thinking these two veneers:

And joint collar/hoppe ring from a purple #4 ball - what woman would not love that colour combo?

Yeah, I would definitely send an email to Bob (DZCues). He made a cue for me with a 2-ball joint; he's a master craftsman.

I've done a ferrule so someone local should be able to make you a ring. Cut really soft actually.
