Hot Shots in Cary NC

I have to go to Cary several times a year for business. While I'm there I like to play at Hot Shots in the McGregor village across from the Alehouse.
They have 11 or 12 GC (don't know which version) with drop pockets.

The tables are in good shape. The pockets are generous. The staff is friendly, but if you need a drink you'll get it faster if you walk up to the bar. You might actually die of dehydration if you wait to be waited on.

Table time was around $4/hr and the bottled beer was $2

Any AZ regulars shoot here? I know they do APA through the week.

IMHO, Babineau's is a much better venue with better talent present. 919.467.5411

Here is the address Dela:

I also recommend the room. I used to play there when I lived in Cary. The tables are kept in great shape. It is more of an "upscale" poolroom atmosphere with a lot of league players and young professionals (not pool professionals). There is a lot of local talent also, very friendly.

I agree. Babineau's is the place I head for first when I'm up that way. Paul is a great host, and if he gets out of hand, his better half will straighten him out real quick!

JK Paul! Hope to see you next month for the Senior's tournament!

BrassTaps in Raleigh is pretty good aswell. Havent been there in 10 years but when i was there there was plenty of action. Not to meantion Coltrain and Archer where there.

I play pretty regularly at Babineau's now and I agree that it is a great place to play. Good atmosphere, great tables, the wait staff is attentative. And the owner is very nice. I used to play out of High House Billiards quite a bit. They have Gold Crown 5's there in great shape.
