Maybe someone already stumbled on this site , hours of video from a womens event , appears to be 1997ish? , Jeanette , Allison etc..etc. , some I don't recognise, its in Korean but the videos are pretty clear, just click the links and opens media player.

The links to the videos don't seem to be working for me. It opens Media Player but then has a connection/network error.
 
hmmmm. I just clicked back in and they are working here , are you on DSL or broadband?
 
It works fine for me. Had to approve an external application to launch mms links then it opened window media player. Under properties one video links to, mms://vod.tbc.co.kr/vod5/billiard/bill961006-1.asf
Some are american vids voiced over in Japaneese so I leave the sound low or off. Cool older vids, thanks for the links selftaut.

most welcome, glad someone else can see them, the first vid is Jeanette and they are playing outside! in the middle of the match something lands on the table and makes her giggle , wonder if it was a bird bomb!
 
I noticed the first was outside. At times you can see a breeze blowing the hair of the women players. Must be a little humid there, that table plays slow.

Those that are having problems.

You might try MPlayer or MPlayer OS X if you are on a mac. I still have trouble with the audio, but the video is there. I think the audio is in Korean anyways though. With MPlayer, you should be able to download and save it also, but you're on your own for figuring that part out, I haven't yet.;-)

in case anyone was overwhelmed by the sheer number of videos available and hasn't found it yet.


As far as viewing goes, I've been using VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/) with great success.

Also, with a stream capture program like NetXfer/NetTransport (http://www.net-xfer.com/) you can easily save the asf stream files to disk for more convenient viewing.

It appears that the newer version of windows media player does not work with these links. If you use an older version of media player the links work fine.

Thanks for the links there are some great videos.

You beat me to the punch, but I just wanted to say that this match is worth watching whether you are a 3-c fan or not. It is by far the most astounding performance I've ever seen on a billiard table.
