Upset? The point was and is that there is no reason why the equipment in an average Chinese pool room should be worse than in the pool rooms in the USA or any western nation.

In other words, this thread shouldn't exist.

Good point about the equipment. Furthermore, there is never a good excuse for a dirty table. I can understand a worn cloth to a degree but a dirty table in these days with the existence of microfiber cloths and cheap sweeping pole to mount them on is inexcusable.

OK, my blue handed rant is over. Now back to why a pool hall cant afford a 38 cent Elkmaster and then have the workers ensure that they are in good shape.

Unless you have to make a sacrifice to carry along the players, you should... why not? You may find nothing left on the wall except tipless baseball bats, all the good cues will be taken.

Nope, no sacrifices. I have to check my suitcase regardless and the stick will fit without a problem.
