Yep, same thing happened to me after I saw the picture of "The dogs playing pool" when I was little. After seeing that I figured if dogs could play pool I could and should too!

There's a real cool one of the dogs sitting around a campfire playing poker. That's the one called "Stranger in Camp." LOL! A dog card mechanic, I guess.

A friend of mine found these dog picture prints in an attic years ago and gave them all to me as a present. I had them framed and still enjoy them very much today.

I especially like the dogs in the courtroom setting the best.

The artist, Cassius Marcellus Coolidge, was born September 18, 1844, and died January 13, 1934. He was a Quaker. Here's his Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassius_Marcellus_Coolidge

Here's a great shot of a slim-and-trim W.C. Fields playing billiards in November 1924, with champion player Bob Cannefax looking on.
