How can I jump better?

I would like to improve my accuracy using the jump cue. I have no real issues getting up over the balls, as long as they are a reasonable distance from the cueball, but my aim is not so hot.

Any advice on how to get better?

With jump cue, I find "spearing" the ball with a loose wrist is best. When jumping with my regular cue, I stroke it like normal, but more abruptly, but pay attention to where I am hitting the ball.

For accurracy, hit the middle of the ball. Anything other than center and the error seems to be exaggerated.

To improve my accuracy with my aim, I was told that I should get down and line up the shot as if there wasn't a ball in front of the cue ball.
Then, when I am ready, just elevate the cue and execute the jump.

I aim the jump shot as if I was shooting without a ball in the way. Then I elevate the cue without moving my stance and execute the jump. This seems to help my aim. And as others suggested Center ball hit.
